I think the answer is not many Flare Yellows outside of the 100 Inspiration Series MY2019 cars.
(Not mine) but going off the updated LC500/LC500 convertible allocation sheet, for MY2023, it looks like Toyota/Lexus only put a whopping total of four (maybe 1-2 more) Flare Yellow LC500s into production. One coupe/Two convertibles for MY2023 on those spreadsheets. I say maybe 1-2 more because my Flared Yellow (MY23) is not on the spreadsheet but I took delivery of it before the author started the spreadsheet and I’m not sure it was ever on the dealer’s site/listed. For MY24 I am only seeing two LC500 convertibles (one sold/one on route to Miami dealer hold).

No Hybrids built in MY23 and none so far in MY24 in Flare Yellow so that’s the true unicorn.

Thanks Silver - that’s great info. I found the following sales figures on the Longo Lexus site:
The Lexus LC 500 was first developed in 2017, and since then, the breakdown of sales is as follows:
- In 2023 there has been 957 sold so far.
- In 2022 there were 1,387 sold.
- In 2021 there were 2,782 sold.
- In 2020 there were 1,979 sold.
- In 2019 there were 1,219 sold.
- In 2018 there were 1,324 sold.
- In 2017 there were 2,782 sold.
Here’s my conservatively high guesstimate broken down, I assumed 1% of sales were Flare Yellow and also assumed there were more Verts than Coupes sold since the Vert came out for 2021:
2019 100 Coupes (all Inspiration Series)
2020 20 Coupes
2021 10 Coupes and 18 Verts
2022 6 Coupes and 8 Verts
2023 4 Coupes and 6 Verts
Total: 140 Coupes and 32 Verts = 172 of any kind
Note: My guesstimate will change when final 2023 production figures become available and with additional sales from 2024 - 202?

So what's really funny, as rare as they are, within the first few months of owning mine, I meet a friend for lunch and another Flare Yellow LC pulls into the parking lot of the sandwich place. Around the same time I show my friend go went "gaga" for the car and said he wanted one. I checked the Internet and the same dealer I bought mine from had a second identical 2019 IS Flare Yellow LC and I told him to go down and get it... Turns out he wasn't that serious about buying one.
