My answer to age old question
I understand there is no real need for a jack kit on a car that has no spare, but I don't leave home without some repair capabilities. Cost me about $800 to get a kit for my SC and about $200 for my wife's XT5. So then I had a really nice Cadillac compressor and tire repair kit. Here is how I answered that: 2013-2017 LEXUS LS460 LS600H EMERGENCY SPARE TIRE JACK W/ WRENCH & TOW HOOK OEM | eBay. Same part number on jack as listed for the LC. Everything fit in the foam except the jack handle and I got an idea for that. If you can roll the tire, you can fix 95% of the flats.
Yep the Cadillac repair is the slime which I would only use as a last choice. I bought a plug kit from the auto parts store. My advice is to throw the plugs that come with the kit in the trash and get the good plugs from your local tire shop. As I stated in an earlier thread, I plugged a tire and put over 14k on it without a failure. Not ideal but better than limping along at 50mph, a speed that will get you and your car killed on today's interstate. Also beats sitting on the side of the road for hours and then getting reamed for a jacked up tire price.
