Considering breaking up the Toasted Caramel interior with some black pieces, it is just so much of the same color throughout the entire inside. I added the Lloyds luxury mats in black (had tan) and like the look. I was originally focused on changing the top of the center console to black (center door and trim around the radio controls) to separate the solid color seats. The piece installed on the dash was cheaper and can be returned if my venture does not work out. If I keep this black, the small leather pieces on the sides will be replaced in black. I am purchasing the parts used.
A few things I have noticed while looking at used panels and a lot of interior pictures. I have not seen any pictures of the LC Toasted Caramel interior changed. The piece installed has black stitching and that appears to be standard. The black Alcantara top has chalk stitching across it and most of the other black leather pieces have chalk stitching, not sure how that would look in the mix. The used door panels are typically sold as an entire piece.
On the fence with this and looking for opinions here, positive or negative feedback please.
Such as, keep the top like it is, change the Alcantara top to black, move forward with other pieces or "what the hell were you thinking, put it back"
Car is halfway in the garage to cut the windshield glare. Normally it is not this easy to see the dash from the outside.
I originally wanted to get the Toasted Caramel interior as well, since it's just a unique color. Though talked with a owner who mentioned as well that the glare is quite annoying. Went for the black/red interior instead and am happy with that choice.
