Default First two services ?

My local dealer says that the initial 1,000-mile check counts as one of the two complementary services.
My understanding was that the first two services were the 5 and 10k which includes oil changes.
Can anyone comment their experience with this.

yes, the first complementary service is utter bs. they just take a looky loo and thats it
second complementary service is an oil change.

I dont think there's a 3rd, but i could be wrong.

I forced them to change the oil at 1000km mark out of my own pocket (300 bucks canadian)
then i changed my own oil just now at 6400km. Ill get the 2nd complementary service done at 12,000km and then continue to change my own oil/filter every 7000km.

Google is your friend. https://www.cerritoslexus.com/complimentaryservice/

"Bringing your vehicle in for service shouldn’t take everything out of you. Every new Lexus comes with complimentary first and second scheduled maintenance services. These services are provided at 6 months/5,000 miles and 12 months/10,000 miles, whichever comes first."

Yes, I showed that exact same quote to my SA yesterday.
He said the LC 500 was different since it was required to be brought in for a 1k check.
They count that as service #1 and the 5k service as #2.
Was told this has applied to all the LC's they have sold.

First is 5K, 2nd is 10K. If you bring in at 1K, then your 2nd is at 5K. You can check on your Lexus app, 1 st 5K, next 10K, and 15K and so on every 5K.
If I remember correctly, on the Sale Sticker also listed 2 complimentary service at 5K and 10K.

Did you bring in your car at 1K? I didnot bring my car in at 1K? I brought my car in at 5K, then at 10K. The SA told me I have to pay for it. I show them what it is said on the Lexus website, he said those are not apply for LC. I told him, where are the word except the LC, he just silent, and told me, we will do it for you without charge, duh. I wait for the Survey email after service to complain to Lexus, but the email never come lol.

I bought my ‘22 a year ago. There was conflicting information between Lexus’ site and my Owner’s Manual on what complimentary services you got. I pointed out the conflicting info to my Dealer’s Service Manager and he said he’d do all 3. Was concerned when I went back for the 3rd (10k mile) but nothing was said and I drove home after getting the 10k service done complimentary. Do your own research and see if you find the conflicting info I did. Then point it out. The 1,000 is basically nothing. They should want your business. Try another Dealer if you have that option.

You should point out that it says "EVERY" and there is no fine print with any exclusions.

I get all my oil changes done at a Toyota dealer since purchase. Last week I did a carfax check on my car, not a single entry for those service jobs. If someone looked at it, they would think I never serviced my car.

You can have service done at any Lexus dealer.
According to my LC owners manual only the 1k and 5k service is free.
1k is inspection only and 5k includes oil change.
