Default Potential V8 Twin Turbo coming?

im watching this and thinking there's no way they wont move this engine from the LF-R to the LC and create an LC-F model. Makes no sense to make another 1 off engine similar to the LFA.

I think its the other way around, they were probably testing this engine in the LC first, then for one reason or another, decided it wasn't something they wanted to pursue, then repurposed the engine for their race cars instead. I suppose given enough time it will reappear in a road car but I am pretty sure it will not be in an LC body (don't mind being wrong on this though)

This new drivetrain is really surprising to me though. We are near end of life cycle for big gas burning V8s and here is Toyota developing a brand new one with what sounds like hybrid assist AND a new DCT gearbox which will feature in a very small number of car models for probably a relatively short period of time. Very unexpected, I honestly did not expect this from them

LoL...nobody knows anything about this...or an LC replacement, or much of any future vehicles., I've learned.

This gives us a pretty good clue of where they’re going for a halo performance car, and unfortunately it’s all electric
