I’d PPF the Eff out of the car. You can PPF the door sills and that will protect them from scratches as well.

I've had a full kit Xpel ppf done - they threw in the carbon door cill ppf for free as scuffing the cills was worrying me a bit. I think there was a pattern for them already. It's part matt, part gloss, so you can't tell it's fitted.
Film kit covers literally everything - front lenses, the trims around the front lights, the black trims around the 'screen and side glasses, door handles etc.

Like others have mentioned, I have XPEL PPF on the carbon fiber door sills. I think my installer mentioned they do not have any pre-cut templates to use so they had to do it themselves. They used two films to keep the gloss and matte look of the carbon fiber. The door sills were included in my PPF package.
