Already announced. Not a bad CT200h replacement. Glad it didn’t have the nose of the RX.

I'm happy to see it.

I like it as well. I think it would do well in the states - I'd certainly consider it.

might be the best, cleanest lexus interior in a long time.

Would like to see full pricing, but this is not too bad of a design. Hope the Europeans like it.

Absolutely! It's the Avalon ski ramp interior, but much better integrated. Hope this filters down to the next IS and ES, but that is unlikely.

There is a lot to unpack:
- different track, wheelbase compared to Yaris Cross
- all different interior and exterior
- stronger version of engine
- excellent interior for class
- 5 versions of interior with completely different colors
- Lexus bespoke introduction to Europe

0The bespoke treatment allows customers to change the colour of the seatbelts and the upholstery embroidery patterns and stitching colour and the trim ornamentation. The choice of luxury materials includes L-aniline leather – a prestige leather only available on LBX and the flagship LS sedan within the Lexus range – and Ultrasuede in different colour combinations. This personalisation service will be introduced in selected markets after the start of LBX sales in 2024.

Although the rear cargo area looks pretty skimpy, in general, I like what I see ........and, to be honest, I can't say that about most new Lexus products for some years now....especially with the spindle-grilles.

If they bring it to the U.S., it might be some good competition for the top Avenir-trim-spec 2024 Buick Encore GX just now about to debut. It is probably too small to compete with the Cadillac XT4 or Lincoln Corsair.

Volvo's new EX30 EV is going to steal a lot of the LBX's thunder. Pretty much the same size, quicker and full EV, starting at $36K. Also coming to the US. LBX is going to have very stiff competition

Yes it’s going to be priced below the UX. Hopefully the ride is refined. This is where the CT200h fell short, it rode more like a Toyota than Lexus.

Agreed. When I did a full-review of the CT200h, years ago (some here in Car Chat may still remember that write-up), I said, back then, that I thought it should have been marketed as a Toyota rather than a Lexus. The UX was a major improvement over the CT in road-manners and ease of entry-exit, but was cramped inside and IMO had poorly-designed controls on the console.

My issue with the UX and I looked at it twice with before buying both of my CTs, albeit used, as that although the UX was better, the much higher extra cost, over $10K more and not even for a hybrid UX, did not justify me paying that much more for a UX. The LBX seems on paper to be a better refinement of what would have enticed me to go for the next step up. That is just my own opinion.
