Default 25k Miles Mark. Tire Tread Life 3IS

Hey guys, Just a quick update to what to expect when you get to 25k!

Sadly I only have about 3 more weeks until my lease is up on my F Sport. I hit the 25k mile mark on it today, Ive had the car for about 8 months now! and surprisingly I still have a good amount of tread life on the tires. It came with the summer tires, And I remember when I first purchase the vehicle my sales rep was telling me how I might only get 15k out of the factory tires & would have to buy new ones before turning it back in! But everything check out okay according to the dealer! I really haven't had 2 many issues with the vehicle over the life period of it . I have however noticed that the brakes are now starting to squeal quite loudly when backing out of places etc. & the vehicle is not stoping as quick as it use to... I only had the oil change in the car twice & I haven't replaced anything else in it & it seemed to hold up pretty well!

I wonder how long the tires could have actually perform before pushing them to bad?..

I assume your IS250 is not AWD. You are not down to the tire wear indicators. Congratulations on achieving excellent tire wear.

That is an amazing amount of miles in eight months. Most car testing magazines don't achieve such numbers. What do you do for a living?

It's amazing how you can reach 25k in 8 months. Seems like for me 25k will be in 25-30 months. Just wondering, how can you get such high mileage allowance for a lease? Do you have to pay tons of extra $ just because of the high mileage? I thought leases are only up to 15k miles/yr.
