DIY: TRD Engine Start/Stop Button install - 2014 IS350/250

Default DIY: TRD Engine Start/Stop Button install - 2014 IS350/250
Hello CL!

First off...a huge thank you to JoeZ and Nigel from http://www.nigel-jdmparts.com

They were instrumental to this install. Please see either of them for your JDM needs!!

@nigel-jdmparts

This took literally five minutes to install. I chose to swap out the rings of the buttons to keep the interior theme intact. This button is advertised for the FR-S/BRZ with a push to start option but it definitely works for the IS. The button does light up green so I am working on what needs to be done to return the color back to white to match the interior lights. Stay tuned... Enjoy!!

Yes matching the red stitching with the red button looks sweet.

Really looks perfect in both cars...


Also, be sure only the "Authentic" TRD Japan button..
I heard there is a company selling copies or replicas on EBAY..

Wouldn't want to install a cheaper copied Start/Stop switch.
