Default Defective : eBay / Spec D Tuning LED DRL Headlights

Second time getting them installed. first the left side now the right side????



Its a shame because they really don't look half bad at all. Maybe Ill throw my own LED strip in them.

Its been well documented how cheap these headlights are

Not even compatible with the OEM HID system

Wow that's sad! I got a good deal last year on mine OEM..$1200 I returned old ones got $300 credit not bad. Fully loaded to.

OEM is all well and good but beside the fact that they are over priced, they don't feature switch back functionality for the turn signals which is something that I am looking for.

I am going to have the LEDs in these headlights gutted and install a switchback DRL tube .... not only will they look sick but they will be one of a kind

What I mean is that if your car has OEM HID (06-10), and you "upgrade" to these, the headlights are not compatible!! The oem Lexus headlights use D4S HID low beams. According to the eBay ad the low beams on these are halogen.

You're right that you get what you pay for but regardless for $400+ they should at least function the way they were intended to. .. that is a shame on the fault of the manufacturer for releasing such a defective product.


And the purpose of this post is simply to warn other members who might be considering purchasing these.

I believe there already a huge thread on these headlight warning people. Where the OP had it returned 3 time before getting a refund.
