Default how to: tilt side mirrors during reverse

Not sure if it was announced anywhere, but I looked at the stickies and didn't see it.

When you are about to go into reverse, press the mirror adjuster "L" or "R" and leave it on either side and the mirrors will automatically tilt down on reverse, and back to it's normal postion when in drive. This only works if you leave the button pressed on either side.if you leave it in the middle it will not do this.

is there any way to just make the passenger side go down? i often use the rear view and driver side to see if there's traffic behind me.

You can adjust to any tilt angle you want then set the memory button and they will tilt to that setting next time. I have my passenger's side tilt way down so I could see the rear wheel which help prevent curb rash when parallel park.
Here are how you do it:
-shift the car to Reverse and both mirrors will tilt down to factory's default position.
-while the car in Reverse, individually adjust each mirror to your liking.
-keep this as your personal setting by hit the Set button then the memory number (while the car is still in Reverse). You should hear an audible beep that confirm the settings have been saved.
-your car is now set for both forward and reverse mirrors position.

Only if you have the Lux Pkg or Sport Pkg. I'm pretty sure both of those packages came with rain sensing wipers, so if you don't have that, you don't have tilt down in reverse mirrors.

If your car has memory seats, it has this function.

You can't. If you have the feature, it's on or off.
