Default The difference between GFX and OEM sideskirts (with pics)

I always thought there wasn't much difference between the GFX sideskirts vs the OEM sideskirts until I installed them. The GFX sideskirts flares out a lot more than the OEM, giving the car a more aggressive stance. It sticks out more now that I and other people will have to watch out and not scuff it with our shoes. The GFX sideskirt sits flat while I had to put a brick on the OEM just so it'll sit flat. So easy to install, definitely recommended.

Oh, in the picture of them side by side, the GFX is wider so it sits flat. The OEM kept rolling its side so I had to put a brick to make it stay put.

Nice comparison, was always curious as to seeing what is the exact difference between OEM and gfx side skirts. And now I know... Thanks! It looks good!

The GFX kit does not add or change the height of the bumpers or the sideskirts. They just make the car look a lil wider.

Where are you seeing $285?

Sewell has them for $168:

Ahhh...gotcha. I was just looking at my color. Lexus of Westminster was selling them recently for $99+ shipping. They had several colors. Don't remember which ones though.

I'm going to quite reading your post Doug. Here comes the CC again.....lol. I was debating on the sides since so many said you can't tell the difference. I should've jump on those when they were $99. I'm sure someone will have them again. I've seen a few in the CL classifieds, but they don't want to ship. Laaaazy....

hmm when they're put side by side, i can see a noticeable difference. but if i saw someone who had the gfx sides on, i dont think i would be able to catch the difference. interesting
