Default daytime running light bulb

hi,
I am wondering what is the size of the daytime running bulb size? I want to change to something brighter/whiter/nicer

9005 is the bulb size. What color you planning to change it to?

I think 9005 is for high beam. I have 8k HID Fog light and 8K D4S, I actually want to put in another HID kit for it as well
here is the link of the chart but cant find the one for daytime bulb:

ohh i c i c, now I know haha. but if I get HID for high beam what happen at daytime? would it be bright as at night? or just 50% of the brightness?

why not? not enough room? I have seen 9005 HID Kits,

I think its because the headlight housing is too reflective and you will blind the crap out of people.

i dont see the point of putting hid on the high beam that you dont use 99% of the time beside it being the DRL

nope. the left one should be 9005, 9006 is the fog.

H11 is the low beam bulb for Non-HID (halogen) cars. The left bulb is the 9005 high beam/DRL (same bulb, DRL is just the high beam running at 50%). Beware, there is also a tiny bulb next to the high beams/DRL called a parking light, or city light. That's a 168 type. Hope that clears things up.

i have seen people change the 9005 DRL light to HID. It can be done, but like everyone says.... you dont really use high beams that often, at least not in southern CA. I can say it does look pretty nice =)
