We are all one big happy family here at Club Lexus....right? We Give advice, take advice add a helping where ever it may be needed....but truly, on the streets if you saw someone driving another IS 250 or 350....do you ignore them, peep there car for mods, give a thumb up, wave and say hi....or just ignore him/her?


I looked real quick at another driver today with a Balck 350.....and ignored the rest of the time.....why did I do that? I have no idea.

I nearly always look over, if they look back I give a thumbs up.

 

Quick glance then move on. That's all.

 

If it's a guy, I'll give a very little nod.

 

I Would normally look if its a girl and majority of them have 350 <--Envy

Most of the time i just stay behind them Stare at the car because want to see how my car looks when they' stare at my car

This car is SEXY in every angle except the Rear end looking at it head on... Looks like a BOX!

 

I usually give other 2IS owners the birdie. j/k!

no i definitely look at the other driver, pretty much most other lexus cars, too. that's a lot of looking but i guess it all depends on the other driver. when you driving, contrary to popular belief, you're not in box. other people can see you and pretty much get a feel for the connection, even if solid eye contract is not made. if someone is ignoring you, you'd probably know it as opposed to someone who just didn't see it. people aren't clueless, they can see you and your car.

 

's up... and if the car is modded i wonder if there on CL..

 

I always look over and if they look back at me I smile and nod. If they don't return the acknowledgment then it's fine cuz not everyone who buys a certain car is going to be care about others driving the same car.

 

I look...and then try to see who looks cooler driving.. =)

 

Haven't seen one around here yet. I know for a fact there is only one other 350 in the area from my local dealer. They've sold several 250's though. If in the situation, I'd take a quick glance as I was approaching, before they could see me looking, but, as I passed, would look straight ahead and out of the corner of my eye, see if they check me out.

 

If I have an opportunity, I always wave. I rarely have the opportunity because I'm going past them so fast!

i just glance and mind my own business. there are only a couple 2IS's where i live also. nice to have a "rare" car.

 

I usually look to "size up" the other driver, and then look for the tell-tale ClubLexus sticker. If I don't think they would know why I was waving or "looking" at their car, then I don't acknlowledge them, otherwise I will. I do this with just about all Lexus drivers - actually made a "nice ride" comment to this little "mom-shell" at a dunkin donuts about her GX, and she thought I was trying to pick her up. That is until she noticed I too was getting out of a GX, then she smiled and gave me the ohhh yeah you too. One time some guy in a Jetta was getting out of the gas station snack shop with his girl - relatively hot girl too, she commented nice ride to me (I was in my GS), and boy was he pizzzzzed off at that. I just said thanks, then proceeded to laugh my azzz off when I got back into my car. But I think the waving to another guy thing could be a little weird.

 

Yea, that sticker would put us all in a world of our own........still waiting to get me one!!
