Default Official Black Sapphire Pearl & Blue Onyx Pearl ISx50 Thread

I figured I'd start some threads specifically dedicated to all of the available IS exterior colors. I'll try to post an example within each thread, which may or may not be member's rides. If I select yours for my example, I'll give you credit for it. If you do not want your ride to be displayed here, please send me a PM and I will remove it.

They don't have to be '08s to be here, as long as that color existed when your IS was manufactured, then post it up.

To start, here is Flipside909's Black Sapphire Pearl IS:

for the swirls, use meguiars scratch x or any other light swirl polish remove. wax protects the paint and make it shiney. when you're washing your car , use 2 buckets. one for soap and one to rinse the sponge, mitts, or whatever you use. and for drying, i recommend microfiber towels. you can get cheap ones from auto stores , walmart, target, etc. or you can get better quality from detailing online stores.

I dont think it will work.. I think it is better to buy the best quality wax to remove the swirl mark.. I used to have 01 INtegra Type R and the paint is nighthark black pearl.. I washed the car with my hand and then dry with rag.. I used Meguiar wax spray to protect the paint.. It have swirl mark.. I tried Scratch X and other product.. Still not working

Zaino Z5 for scratches and swirls.

Like I said, Zaino > Wax.

Dammit! I am jealous! I wanted Black Sapphire Pearl sooo bad, but the dealer said I would have to wait a while for it to come in. What a beautiful color.

LOL you might not want it once you find out how high maintence it is to keep it looking good!!!

It's kind of like dating Paris Hilton.

I use Z-5 zanios (5 coats, 10 coats on the hood. It gets easier after the first coat ) and the clear sealer looks really good.

blackberry pic sorry!
