Talking HID Fog Light Install for CSPEC!

EDITED: UPDATED PICS First of all, I know theres been a lot of request and such for a HID fog install. So since I was doing mines I decided to help some people out. Not all kits are like the one shown, I personally bought a Techone kit, awesome kit, color is perfect IMO - I was looking for a really yellow 3000k kit and this was the best that I found. Now off to the pics!

This is the kit and the bulb

For this install I opted to take off the front bumper as it was a lot easier. You first remove the front engine cover which is pretty straight forward. Then you have 2pins and a 10mm bolt holding the center of the bumper.

There was also 2 more pins as shown, after that there should be 10 more 10mm underneath

As you can see the bumper support has a perfect spot right behind it.

Yeah yeah I know I used tie wraps and it might look ghetto or whatever but it worked for me, its also held with 3M double sided tape, note this is the driver side as you can see the windshield wiper reservoir

Heres the passenger side mounted

Heres the tricky part, if you look closely at the OEM connector as shown, its labeled - & +, with this particular kit you HAVE to switch the wires around, meaning negative goes with positive and vice versa.

Yes, I know I need a female connector, I just havent had time to get it yet

And these are just the other connectors connected, red with red and blue with black.

Very nice, I think I s hould move my ballast to the bumper support so water doesnt hit it as much.

Thanks for the pics. One question though.. say if a kit like the Xenon depot ones, they come with wires that connect directly to the battery and one to ground, how would you connect that all the way to the battery terminal from the fog position? Also, I've read numerous concerns of using the stock wiring harness as it draws a lot more power when starting the bulbs up. Isn't it safer to hook it up directly to the battery?

The wire that you connect right to the battery should be long enough for you to connect it but Im not sure cause I dont have a kit like that. Ive heard the same about the harness situation but there are numerous guys that dont have kits like that and I havent heard anything going wrong, for me it was a color thing. Most kits Ive seen dont have a good yellow output, this one does. As far as being safer, yes it is.

Its so nice I wouldnt even know where to start but theres a video of another member that has it, thats where I found it In pics and even the video it makes the yellow look white at certain angles, but in life its yellow at every angle.
