Commonly misreferenced as the VDIM Cutoff feature, this feature is applicable to 2007 IS & GS models. This will not work with 2006 IS & GS models. To disable VSC (Vehicle Skid Control) & TRAC (Traction Control) on a 2006 model, please refer to this method here:

2006 IS & GS - VSC & TRAC OFF


To disable TRAC & VSC simultaneously:

1. Press PUSH START to the ON position.



2. Hold the TRAC OFF button for 3 seconds.



3. Then you will see both the TRAC OFF & VSC OFF indicator light displayed on your dash cluster.





To disable TRAC only:

Step #1. Press the PUSH START to the ON position.



Step #2: Press the TRAC OFF BUTTON once.

The TRAC OFF dash indicator will turn on:



To reset these features to normal operation, you can simply restart the car or press the TRAC OFF button once to clear the system.
