Default Vividracing Tuning/Flash

So Vividracing racing is claiming to have an obdII port tuning... It's based on the 2IS platform but not engine specific. This alone is reason enough for me not to try it but just thought I would share. If you read the comments below Vivid stated it will work for the ISF.

I know everyone seems to be waiting on some type of tuning solution/capability and all others introduced fell off before they could provide any information or cost an arm and a leg.

A little chatter on the 250/350 page but it seems the only one with real product experience is the one mentioned on Vivid's website.

This is very good new for is 250/350 community with a very reasonable price $700 +10% off. The gain is very impressive .
Vividracing said this tune will work on ISF too but who know .But if it really works for our F this will be very a cheap mod but with a good gain.

I'd like to see independent proof of the gains.

VR's site claims it does work with the IS-F. They say it's "engine independent".

If I'm reading their explanation correctly, it seems like they are claiming that the factory ecu has more aggressive maps on it already. What they are basically doing with this tool is allowing you to access a more aggressive map already stored in the ecu code. Not too sure, but I don't think this is the answer to those looking for a reflash for boost. Either way, this has peaked my curiosity since Vivid Racing had a good rep with the evo community when I owned one.

I8, check the responses section of the OP post. Vivid claims it will work on all models of the IS including the F.

Vivid stated it works on the IS-F in the comments. Someone on FB stated they called and Vivid stated they have nothing for the IS-F.

I8ABMR how close are you to their shop?

I just got off the phone with them. They say nothing for the ISF. The fellow I spoke to didn't know if an OBD device is planned, but he will speak to the owner and call me back on Monday. I'll keep you guys updated. And, as you guys know, I'm in Arizona.

Sounds interesting. Prob BS for the IS-F. Their website purchase link states nothing about a flash for us.

If there's nothing for the F, then why is "Dan" giving misinformation? Dan needs to be fired.
