Considering lowering front that sits waaay to high!
My car seems to sit abnormally high in the front. I was reading other posts about lowering just the front end which got me thinking I should measure from the ground to the highest point of my fender in the wheel well. The rear is 25 5/8" and the front 27 3/16". That is 1 9/16" higher in the front. The only contributing factor I can think of is the Michelin PSS's I just had installed. Rear 275/30ZR19 and Front 245/35ZR19. The front is 1/4" taller than the rear.
Is my car much higher in the front than most, specifically those with the same tire set up I have.
The gap is way bigger in the front compared to the rear. That's why I only dropped the front on springs. My rear is on OEM springs and it looks dropped.
Sorry for the bad cell phone pics but here's how my car looks after one week dropped on swift springs. The gap to me is perfect now so I'd definitely recommend this setup.
PrezJay are you dropped all around or only the front? My 08 has stock suspension, and for some reason (a good one) mine looks even all around. I noticed that MY11, 12, 13 all look higher in the front.
I haven't experienced any scraping after the drop. I take most driveways and speed bumps the same as I would stock so you should be good to go . I don't think you'll have an issue unless you get a lip kit.
another happy driver with only the front dropped on swift springs here...great mod, im really happy with it. No rubbing on my 245/35/19s either. i did rub with 40's though on the front and back of the fender wall...initial order error.
Ive got a 2012 and dropped on Swift Sport Springs. PM Mike from FIGS Engeering, vendor on here, for the best deal around. Overall im satisfied I got rid of the wheel gap but I want to go lower so ill be looking into coilovers sometime in the near future. If your on a budget and want to lower your car but dont want to compromise comfort and driveablity, Swift is the way to go.
