Need some advice
well a big thanks for the fellow members for pointing out i had the wrong lugnuts on my ISF. well i ordered the stock ones and had toyota throw them on for me. Just one problem, some knuckle head put longer studs on the car and also left the wheels spacers on with the stock wheels. well now this is causing a 2 problems. 1. the stock lugs wont fit with the longer studs. and 2 the wheels are slowly getting a hole bored into them because of the wrong lugs. Im sure the easy fix would be cutting the studs, but i want it done right, this car afterall isnt a toyota tercel. SO Do you guys think the dealership i purchased this car from( not a lexus dealer) should be responsible, IM still under there 60 warranty period. To me this is a safety issue and SHOULD be covered under warranty..what do u guys think?
Also on another note I have an appt at the lexus dealer for monday. Im getting a considerable amount of rear differential whine...anybody have this problem. Im sure its possible it could be a little low but i really dont want to touch it knowing its still under warranty. So all and all maybe i got to good of a price. but hoping to get all these things resolved. any help or information would be greatly appreciated. thanks

The dealership would not be responsible in any way for your aftermarket wheel studs. The proper way to fix this issue would be to order factory size studs and replace the long aftermarket studs and remove the spacers...
I have the same issue now, the owner before me put long studs to fit a 15mm HR spacer for the more "aggressive" stance, car was also lowered so now i cannot put a tire any thicker than 255 in rear because it will rub.
Lucky for me the previous owner sold me the car with stock studs which I will put in myself when I get a 275/30/r19 tire. I will get rid of the spacer (probably sell it here if someone wants it) and rock a thicker rubber instead.
Order stock wheel studs with lugs and revert everything back to stock or leave it as is with spacers.

they are not liable.
the studs are easy. you dont cut them. you just take a hammer and knock them out and put new ones on. each stud is cheap. like 1-2 dollars.
as for the diff , i highly doubt its low but changing the rear fluid takes about 15 mins, its easier than the oil change . you have an open diff as well.

my problem is, this must be a safety issue.. u can actually see where the wrong lugs are boring a hole in the aluminum wheel. and over time it could cause the wheel to fall off. i would think any safety issues would be covered under warranty, I mean i could be wrong.

The place you bought it from, might help you... Depends what their "Sold as is" policy covers...

If you raise enough hell with management im sure they will consider buying you stock lugs and studs, however, you inspected the car before you bought it which means you were satisfied with your purchase when you signed for it and left the lot... theoretically they are not liable but its worth a shot to try it with the whole "safety issue angle" maybe they will budge. Well they seem willing to help out, they are almost 2 hours from me and are sending someone tuesday with a rental and are going to pick my car up, and drop it off when its finished. i have stressed to them Im not willing to spend any money, otherwise i would have a friend do it for a fraction of the cost, but considering I have an appt with lexus on monday I might just say screw it and pay them to put it back to normal..i will keep u guys posted, thanks alot for all the responses

I would fix the tire problem first, the whining maybe tire related. Some tires can get very chatty depending on wear, and make some weird noises.

who knows u guys could be right. it def is back to mostly stock now. And I just got ahold of my mechanic whom i havent spoken too in a year and a half. lol thought he was pissed that everytime he busted his *** on my cars id sell or trade them in..come to find out he moved outta state for a while and his ex had his phone. And this is a guy I would trust my ferrari with, if i had one. he has a mach 1 ( cant remember the year) that he built from scratch that thing is so sweet. been valued at over 100k ...I had a 3000gt vr4 that was a stock vr4 until he built it to a 500whp awd monster ran low 10's in that thing. and never once had a problem with it.So needless to say now i got the right guy to get my car back to where it needs to be. wish me luck,,

BTW it does have cheap falkens on it, but the noise def seems to coming from the rear differential ands its earily similar to how my 08 m3 sounded before they ordered and put a new one in .
