Default Those with deleted mufflers....rattles?

I've been noticing upon cold start up and bumpy roads that my exhaust rattles at the back where the mufflers used to be. I have a feeling that the weight of the mufflers weighted them down enough not to rattle against any metal above them. I decided to put pieces of double sized tape and some wobble wedges in the spots I deemed to be problematic. Took it for a spin and didn't notice it anymore. My friend who had the Joe Z said he had experienced some rattling vibrations as well. Anyone else notice anything, and if so, anything you guys did to solve the issue?

Edit: After an 8 mile drive, the wobble wedges fell out, so they aren't in the pic.

It' basically the welded in pipes that took place of the muffles being so much more light weight the the oem mufflers. They tend to have more movement because of the lighter weight. I felt like a Jerry-rigged it, which I hate on such a high priced car. Just curious if anyone had found a better solution than what I've done. Let me take some pics.

The problem is with the tailpipes or the back side of the muffler rattling against the inside of the diffusers. I had this issue develop over time with my custom fabricated dual system with factory modified mufflers. It happened on the right hand side. When i had my new rear section fabricated, we paid attention so the condition would not repeat itself. I would not think this would be a problem with the muffler delete as the replacement tailpipe is much smaller then the rear end of the muffler. But, the key with any exhaust installation is to make sure the rear of the muffler or tailpipe is located in the direct center of the diffuser.

I updated with a picture in the first post. This might work for awhile, but I'm not completey convinced that this will hold up over the long haul.
