exhaust rattle

Default exhaust rattle

hey, i got new mufflers put on a while ago, and they rattle like crazy against that metal piece close to the outlet. ive tried rubber caps and everything but it keeps coming back anyone have a good permanent solution to this crazyness?

the heat shield where the cat is at, ussually that gets loose and starts to rattle, check it out !!

i did, it seems to be coming from the mufflers... the piece where the metal knocks real hard on the end...i put a few more of those rubber cover things on it and it wont go away...whats the deal? anybody find a good solution for this?

Is it hitting the bumper or the underside of the car or what?

the underside. that metal piece where the rubber holder is held on im pretty sure. i put some rubber caps on there but it still rattles. what else would work there?

How long exactly have you had your exhaust. Sometimes it can take a little while until the exhaust fully breaks in to get rid of your rattle.

like 8 months. it didnt do it at the very beginning, then it started to

Back from the DEAD! I have the same problem. Exhaust rattles near the muffler on the rubber piece that holds up the hanger that is welded to the exhaust. I will take pictures tomorrow but if anyone knows of a way to fix this or seen a thread with a fix please post here.
