Default Will those tires work?

I purchased a set of Michelin PS2s 225/40/19 which the stock size few months ago.. which was a mistake. Now its time to change the rears and I want the PSS but the issue is that the 265 wont be available anytime soon, so I will be going with 275/30s on the stock rims. The car is lowered on Eibachs... will there be any rubbing issues??

I'm no expert on this subject, but I believe many people on here are running this size tire on OEM wheels on lowered Fs without issues.

I believe people are on 245 F and 275 R dropped without rubbing.

I've seen 275s on the rear without rubbing. Some are using springs and coilovers and no problem there either.

Just roll fenders and go big.

I am now running 275/30/19 PSS on stock rear wheels, lowered on KW V3, 0.5 finger fender gap, no rubbing and no other issues.

You can run 255/35/19 front and 285/30/19 at rear on stock wheels also without any issue... it has been tested by couple IS-F members before.

I had 275/30 Dunlop Direzza DZ101 on Eibachs and stock rims without rubbing...it wasn't even close to rubbing. It could have swallowed a 285/30 easily.

I don't know, but I have a gut feeling you will exacerbate the understeer of the F, with that narrow a tire up front. Also, I have read that the PSS is a better handling tire than the PS2. Construction changes or compound changes or both probably account for this. So, IMHO, I would be worried about using two different models of tires front and rear as well as the smaller cross section up front.

+1 I foresee a lot of under-steer with that set up.

That's probably the last thing I'd do from a performance perspective. If anything I'd leave the rear at 255 and put 255s on the front for a square set up.
