I am looking at replacing my former 2012 ISF (salvaged and sold, very missed) with another one. I am now looking at a 2010. I was wondering if anyone has seen this on your instrument cluster. Looks like some adhesive piping or tape of some sort. The current owner is the original owner, but he is not sure what it may be, but did say he had a gps 'override' installed with a mic for voice input so perhaps it included removal of the cluster? Take a look and let me know what you guys think:
Thats not from the factory if that's what you're asking. Looks like felt tape an installer would use to reduce/eliminate any rattles or noises coming from interior panels. I know from personal experience if that piece is loose it squeaks, check to see if the two fasteners at the top are intact and installed properly.
