I am a big ISF fan since 2008 literally my dream car..But back in January purchased a IS500 Launch Edition I traded my 21' STI for it got it locally for msrp & the 1st IS500 sold in my State Michigan. Even though its not a true "F" it's a fun car & the suspension is great plus the 2UR-GSE is very intoxicating. Also the IS500 is the last n/a 4-door V8 form Japan so I am glad I own one even if it's not a true "F".

I was a passenger on a test drive in the is500 on Angeles Crest hwy. here in Los Angeles, California. Plenty of power! Suspension is a little mushy for canyon drive. I would need to upgrade for sure just like with my F. I'm considering a GSF. Definitely staying with the F. If I get a GSF I probably will leave it stock. Can't see myself up in the canyon with it! The ISF corners very good for a sedan! Who knows, I might just keep it a while longer.
^^^^There is no "fogs" "driving lights" on any Lexus vehicle since, I believe 2018 Modern headlights LED headlights are a drastic step upward compared to the HIDs on the ISF.
I've noticed that! My wife has a 2017 IS200t and it has no fogs. There isn't even an option for fogs on any of the models for that year. My Mom has a NX300 and it comes with fogs! A little strange. I personally love fogs. I went with after market headlights for the ISF because stock replacements are a little steep. Especially if you want to upgrade the 2008 model to 2011 headlights. But I like the LED aftermarket upgrade. I replacement the rear as well. Looks sweet!
In the video at 04:06 time stamp. Is that some sort of coolant leak above the oil filter housing on the IS500?
That part of the video he is underneath the ISF when comparing the IS500 and ISF engineering. So yea that particular ISF looks to have the Valley Plate leak, but wouldn't that be sad if the new IS500 already had the Valley Plate leak😬😁

That actually could be the coolant pump too. The location of the crust is right in line with the weep hole on the pump's seal.
Yeah, it would be terribly sad if the IS500 already had the valley plate leak happening.
