Hi All,

I'm after some help and advice. Over the last 6 months I have been trying to get my headlights PPF'd here in the UK. No shop can successfully do it. The film will not adhear at the top of the light where it meets the hood.

This also occurred on my pre facelift units.

Any ideas?

 

I have xpel on my headlights and they work just fine. Sounds like your ppf guys don't know what they're doing. I would go to another shop. Good luck!

 

Hey Chris, can you upload a pic of your lights with the PPF on please? Preferably of the top edge? Is the PPF done edge to edge on yours?

 

My headlights are XPEL ppfd as well. Are the lights new? Only asking because on my 21 Tundra we couldnt get the film to adhere due to the coating the comes on the factory lights when brand new. I will have to wet sand the light to get it to adhere later on.

 

Yes brand new set of facelift lights. It’s only the top part it doesn’t adhere to.
