Default Will these fit?

Hi all, looking at some new wheels for my '08 ISF but I'm worried the rears won't fit (I'm on stock suspension and have no plans to change that) the wheels only come in 19"x8.5" ET45 and 19"x10" ET40 (or worse offsets), now I'm pretty confident the fronts will fit but the rears are gonna stick out nearly 28mm more than stock according to a quick online calc.

Anyone know if this is doable or does it require messing with the arches? If it's a no go would it be possible to run the 19x8.5" all round as the tyre would still be as wide just the wheel 0.5" narrower?

Hey mate,

You're most definitely going to either need rolled/shaved fenders or adjustable camber for the rear.

For reference I run 19x9.5 +38 in the rear and they rub with anything meatier than a 265/30

I'm running 19x10 +38 and I needed a roll and camber to make it work. Might have been able to get away with just adding some camber but I ended up rolling first so not sure if I could have gotten away with just some camber or not.

So yes, you will almost undoubtedly need some extra modifications to fit that size wheel in the rear.

You could run the 19x8.5 in the rear with a smaller tire if you really wanted to but you'll be sacrificing some performance for sure. How much is difficult to say... but I personally wouldn't do it. I do autocross/track my car though so if you really only drive it on the street it might not be that noticeable. At the end of the day it just depends on how you use the car and how much function over form you prefer. I don't think it would be dangerous or anything though.

the front should be fine, the rear may rub without a roll/shave.

Hi,
Do you have any pics of this fitment and tire sizing you used? Did you resolve your rubbing issue?
