Arrow IS-F CCS-R Exhaust Installed, pictures and video

Hey F family,

I've been posting in my build thread for most of the time as I don't want to spam the main forum. I figured this would be worth posting here since I was able to scoop an actual IS-F CCS-R exhaust and have been able to document the install and make a video with the sound.

Here's the exhaust:

As you can see it is a dual equal length setup with a crossover early in the first section of the exhaust. Section 1 is stainless steel and the rest is titanium, a total weight of 35 pounds, 36 pounds less than the factory system. One thing to note is TRD opted for dual 3" piping instead of 2.5". I imagine this might effect the top end of the power band more but the dyno will tell when I get on it in the next week or two.

Upon initially mocking it up it was discovered that the factory fuel tank was in the way of the left mid pipe. This was due to the fact the CCS-R had taken out the factory fuel tank and had a fuel cell in the trunk. This meant that a custom left mid pipe would have to be ran to fit the rest of the exhaust.

The sound clip:

Some composite pictures I took now that it's on:

I prefer the faux tips to the actual titanium burnt tips but, considering this was off a race car it makes sense to run it as designed. Either way, very stoked to have such a rare item.

Nice exhaust! Your whole build has been of the best quality and the way you've been able to source these parts is nothing short of amazing. Good work man.

That sounds insane. Curious on how did you get this exhaust and how much was it? I'm guessing it was taken off a CCS-R since it's not brand new.

That's got to be the best sounding exhaust setup I've heard yet on our cars. Congrats on the install.

Thank you! Going to schedule the dyno Monday, hopefully EAS can do it Friday or Saturday (where I did my baseline and my intake dyno)

I wasn't sold on it at first as far as sound, but it's grown on me every day

I've definitely been fortunate in coming across the parts and also being able to purchase them as well. It's fun sharing the excitement and the details of these parts with the community as well.

Equal length headers next year will probably make it sound unreal. If you saw the CL ad that it was on a few weeks ago then you'd know but I'd rather not say. Definitely off a CCS-R, possibly the Pikes Peak one.

The dual design and use of titanium not to mention the 3" piping all come together to make this symphony!

Have you dynoed yet? Curious to see what gains (if any) over the Borla you had. 2.5 vs 3 dual.... when I spoke with Rafi from RR racing he said they tried it on there ISF and so no gains at all.

Unfortunately I never dyno’d it with the Borla since I only had it on for 2-3 months. I’m going to try to dyno it this Friday if EAS has an opening. I don’t think running the 3” over 2.5” would yield more gains, it might just make the power band look different.

As promised, the dyno session:

Here are the exhaust runs:

Red = Baseline
Blue = HPS Elbow + aFe oiled filter
Green = HPS Elbow + aFe dry filter + gutted kitties + CCS-R Titanium Exhaust

The fill between baseline and the bolt-ons:

The car was dyno'd at EAS, 6th gear in Sport Manual.
Same wheels
Same Fuel (Shell 91).

I tried to keep things consistent as I could but here are some possible changes:
25k miles or so since my last dyno
Fresh spark plugs (literally right before the session)
aFe dry filter (my previous intake dyno was with the aFe oiled filter)
Temp + humidity (today was about 7 degrees cooler but with all the rain it was more humid)
The car was hitting the speed limiter or something and was pulling early from redline.
My car is about 250 lbs. lighter than when it was last dynode
I haven't adjusted the 02 conditioner for codes I read after the session.
