You're probably going to have clearance issues with putting the rear deck back on. I was in the middle of doing this also but I might just give up on it. I hope you find a way cause I cant think of anything unless raising up the rear deck some or grinding down the medal some.

Yeah it kinda does matter, therest definitely not enough room to mount the sub facing up, it has to face down like the oem oem style. Since you have attempted, notice how Lexus added slmesomet there to prevent putting aftermarket ones in, its llike they knew it was gonna break... I will not know for sure, ill let peolle know tmrw morning!

I don't know either, im just trying to make a OEM bracket that everyone can use. Unfortunately, it may not be plug in play if I can't find that weird connector. I'll keep you all posted like I said

Fyi my mount depth is 2.8"

The OEM design has the coil part up top inverted, sub is supposed to face down try that.

How mine sits, your depth ahojld definitely help with this, but I was able to get mine down. I'm probably gonna mod the grille piece to accompany the new sub. sounds amazing. worth the $50.

Only problem is, that the sub I have is dual 2 ohm so it wouldn't work with the factory amp. Was going to install it with a micro amp also but since it doesn't clear the deck I'm having second thoughts on it.

You will need to find a DVC 4 Ohm amp, don't go fancy on wattage, what I have does amazing. Stock amp doesn't have much bass anyways, besides anymore may cause rattling
