Part # 77024-53040. The other filter is a regular mesh filter you could get in a lot of places. At that point I would just upgrade to a better fuel pump like the AEM 50-1220 since you’ll already be in there. Better that then having to go back in when that pump gets tired and gives out. That AEM one will drop right in no modifications needed.

Your very welcome. Plus if you ever want to run a mix of e85 and pump gas for a boost in octane the AEM 340lph # 50-1220 is ethanol friendly so you’ll be perfectly fine. I just installed the pump this week. Amazing!

How do you run an E85 mix? Do you literally just go half and half in the tank? Seems like that would be overly complicated to track mixtures. I am surprised we don’t just tune our cars on straight E85. Clearly, I know nothing about tuning our cars.

can I use the "AEM 50-1220 E85-Compatible High Flow In-Tank Fuel Pump (340lph)" one? I dont plan on using E85, just gonna use normal fuel from the petrol pump I normally use. that wont make me any issues right? if i run stock fuel (normal fuel from the gas station) in my country its called "95 SPECIAL"

I see this is a pretty necro thread, but the question is a good one - is the AEM pump a plug n' play, or something else? OEM pumps are not exactly inexpensive; but they come with filters, fit directly in the mounts, and plug right in. If the AEM is a simple swap, it would help to know for sure.

I'd like to know as well since I've been blending, I keep hearing about the AEM and people not having any issues.

That's awesome news! Did you replace all the parts the manual says to replace when you did this? O-rings and an E clip are all marked replace in the parts breakdown.

It's been a bit since I put it in. IIRC, the pump comes with an o-ring. I can't say I remember replacing the e-clip.

Something about needing to use 2 O-rings when installing the oem strainer to the AEM pump. Maybe @mkivtoisf can chime in as well, he recently replaced his fuel pump with an AEM one.

I've installed an AEM E85 pump two weeks ago, and replaced both the filter and the strainer in the same time. AEM is a direct fit, 100% plug and play, there are two o-rings in the box, they are for the top of the pump (filter side), for the bottom (strainer side) the strainer just clips in place. I've also replaced the 2 o-rings on both regulators.

I got my parts yesterday evening and installed them immediately. New everything except the regulators and the strainer (you can only get the strainer if you buy a Lexus pump, I bought the AEM).

The drive this morning was totally different. KFV was way more stable and KCLV was very solid at 22. It's still not perfect, but wow, what a difference. It would seem this was the long pole in the tent for me.

Good new for your KFV. I've had the strainer on Rockauto, the Spectra STR125, if you want to change it later, just in case
