Sorry if this has been posted but I read that the 2013 Gen7 nav units had app support and a bunch of upgrades, If I have a 2011 MarkLevinson, would it be possible to swap out with a 2013 unit? Which unit would I need to swap, the upper nav screen, the lower radio reciever/cd changer, or both?

Bump. I want to add the HD Radio, Traffic, and App connectivity functionality from the 2013 to my 2011

You would have to research if the ML amp is the same used in the Gen6 headunits. If the amp is different you will probably have to change that out. I'm also going to assume you may have to change out the shark fin antennae to take advantage of the HD radio option, and possibly additional wiring is needed. I know the buttons on the lower radio section are a bit different too so you may have to change that piece out. If it's more just cosmetic you may be able to get away with just replacing the NAV screen section. It's a lot of unknown - The only way you can really see if it works is to buy the unit and try it. Another user on the forum is trying to do a Gen5 to Gen6 swap and that is a lot more involved for sure.
