Default ProForce Hub bearing review.

To everyone who needs hub bearings I am taking a bullet for all of ya and got eBay brand for my isf. Why one might ask? Well because it was $100 (and not $240 -Timken) which should already be good for a mother hub frickin bearing on a Toyota!! Anyways it carries a timken part number ok? And it is identical to OEM one. Pictures below. So u be the judge. Plus it has Demso ABS sensor just like OEM. after install it rides just like OEM haven't noticed any horsepower or handling increase so yea...

Default I do not promote them. Just helping fellow members.

Boom Here is their website

eBay Here is the eBay item.
They also have really low ratio of negative feedback.

Curious, what were the indications that the OEM hubs were going bad, and how many miles on them?

Thx for sharing with everyone though

Awesome! Had a similar experience in the past on rock auto. They were selling some injectors under a private label, so i took a leap of faith. Come to find out when i got them, it was the exact ones as OEM (part # and everything). In short, there is a lot of money to be saved if you look hard enough.

They make a humming noise at speed when the bearings go bad.

How many miles on your car? Seems like these parts should last a long time.

How did you differentiate the humming noise vs potential tire roar?

RockAuto has them $240/$270 L/R.

It all depends on how the car is used. Tracking will wear out wheel bearings much faster. Running stance offsets will wear out wheel bearings much faster. Hitting curbs can ruin a wheel bearing in a single blow. It's not difficult to test them, but if you have an event sufficient to require a wheel repair, odds are good you'll be replacing the wheel bearings fairly soon.

Are those timkens confirmed to work on the is f? I remember reading about some not being the correct width. I have to replace one and the OE part is almost double the price.

If you have ever owned a boat you will know the difference in cheap bearings and Timken's. You don't even get a season out of cheap wheel bearing salt water eats them, whereas good bearing last 2/3 years with the same maintenance.

yes timken is the only one from ROCKAUTO that is confirmed to work. There is a member here who said he bought them all only to find out none for besides timken (that being the most expensive option)

used eBay off branded on my BMW for a while, still working good few years later. That account seem to be in good standing and offers same warranty as timken - 1 year. I just tired of buying brand not product. I often notice even branded things fail often, Sony, Phillips (had headache with both today) and others while some walmart cheap things are still working stong.
