Default Headlights halogen / hid ?

Hey guys. Looking as this https://m.ebay.com/itm/True-OE-Style-JDM-Black-LED-DRL-Projector-Headlight-For-06-13-Lexus-IS250-IS350/122917882186?hash=item1c9e7a094a:g:r0wAAOSwoFVaXkgG

to replace my 2008s lights. The seller says that the only work on the halogen ones. What will the problem be? Afs?

thanks in advance.

garbage. track down a used OEM set and install those. May cost you a few hundred more but it's worth it.

Hey Alex,
We also carry a lot of projector headlights for the IS (here's the link to the selection), and we also do not recommend using them, if you've got factory HID headlights. The reason is simple, as even if you remove the halogen bulb the lights come with and insert a stock HID, the lights will not focus right. That's because the projector lens is set up for the certain bulb length, and that's the length of a halogen bulb of certain bulb size. HIDs are longer, so these lights will not form the right beam. Besides, there is a chance that an HID bulb can melt the lights due to the higher operation temperature and again, because of its length. Hope that explains the restrictions for these headlights.
