Hey guys so I am going to check out this car tomorrow, and if it checks out on the PPI I am going to buy it. Is there anything in particular I should ask the dealer about when I see the car. I don't know these cars great reliability wise, but I am making the switch because my M3 had way too many problems. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Link is below. Also maybe a members car?

During the PPI, ask them to check for leaks on the exhaust headers (rattling noises during a cold startup or signs of carbon build-up nearby the heat shield), valley pan (slow leaks near the firewall), radiator & water pump, aside from brake rotors/pads & shocks. Do a quick search here for more details. They ain't cheap to fork out of your pocket.

Bes of luck!

Make sure all the recalls have been completed. Valley plate/water pump, rear view mirror, and passenger air bag

I concur with this list two main issue to look for are Valley plate leak have them do inspection to make sure your good and water pump, by now 99% of bad water pump issues have been addressed. They were primarily on 08,09 and few 10. Make sure all recall items have been address there aren't many mostly minor issue. A few ISF had Valley Plate leaks. It's coolant leak issue that's caused due to Lexus not using a traditional gasket but instead using a sealant and that sealant breaks down causing the leak. Most people were driving around not even realizing there was an issue, until they noticed coolant reservoirs were low. They would refill them after few weeks or months coolant reservoirs would low again. It's roughly a $1,200 fix give or take some dealers I've seen charge a little more but the average is around there.
