If you don't trust them, why not wait and watch. On my last alignment, I was the one in the car when it went up on the lift.

I work in an Luxury European dealership, and I see a lot of high HP cars taken out for joy rides or have the **** rev out of it by the valet or techs. Doesn't happen often, but you just have to face the hard truth that at one point in your car's life, someone is gonna mistreat it. You'll never be able to avoid someone ****ing around with your car unless you do everything yourself.

The alignment shop I take my car typically completes it in under an hour so I stick around. Mine doesn't do any test drives because my vehicle is lowered but if you're that worried about it why not just stick around and request no test drives...

Like others have said above. Make an appointment so you are not waiting all day. Ride with the tech on the test drive and hang out and watch while they do the work. No valet mode
