Hi guys,
I am planning to buy the techstream cable soon, however the main reason for me doing that is to check all the readings (e.g.voltage readings on components) and compare them to what they are supposed to be. my question, where can i find the correct/healthy readings of these components?
If i am able to find the readings i am supposed to get for my car then I feel that it will be easy for me to find defective parts or parts that are expected to fail. In my example, I would like to see the correct readings for my fuel pump.
I'm planning on buying a Techstream cable too. I don't know anything about them. Are they model specific or Make specific? Do I need one specifically for my 2008 Lexus LS460L?
For your LS you should be fine with the standard MiniVCI cable. The chinese cable will work if it is not defective. I advise you to buy it from Ebay and look for the 64bit version which will work on windows 10. search ebay for "techstream 64bit"
Discussions about pirated Techstream are not part of ClubLexus. The Chinese cables all use pirated software, and the only legitimate cables and software are available through TIS. For this reason, this thread is locked. Please do not start a new one.
