Default Installing Bilstein B6,Swift Springs, Sikky Sway, Figs, Super pro bushings

Finally have all parts. I started buying all parts over yr ago but due injury that delayed my project. Just recently put project back on track, had every I needed except Blistien B6's. I was on fence whether to go with B6/swift or BC/swift. I decided to try B6/swift so had to order B6 shocks Unfortunately not many B6 shock available nationally, was able track down fronts from one supplier and rears from another vendor so now I have all parts. Additional parts being installed are Swift springs, Sikky rear sway bar, Figs adjustable toe links and adjustable front sway bar endlinks. Sway bar bushing claps, new front sway bar bushing, Super Pro Poly bushing for Front Upper Ctr Arm inner adjustable offset bushings, lower rear adjustable offset bushings, inner front bushings. Rear lower trailing arm bushings, both upper and lower rear control arm bushings. Unfortunately I wont be able to do install myself due to recent cervical fusion surgery. It will be done at friends shop.

I miss posts like this. Sometimes it's nice just looking at parts. Particularly ones that are dedicated to handling.
Good luck with the install and of most importantly, a speedy recovery to you.

Best wishes for a successful recovery from that surgery. And be sure to let us know how the Bilstein / Swift combo works out.

I wouldn’t expect too much out of the Bilsteins. In my experience, they make their aftermarket shocks to essentially the same specs as the oems that they are replacing, thus they might be too soft for the Swift springs.

Thanks for well wishes guys its greatly appreciated. I haven't driven F in months can't wait to install parts on Wednesday and see how it rides. I should get good feel for how this setup will work on ISF its DD that also see some track time as well as spirited driving on back roads. My main concern is how well will this setup deal with poor road conditions in NYC as I commute to city 5 days week.

I just made a business trip to New Jersey and I have to say I doubt I would be happy with the stock suspension on the '08. I rented a Cadillac CUV (love Emerald Club!) and even it was getting beat up by the roads around Newark. I might fuss a little about the roads in Georgia, but the Northeast is in a completely different realm of bad.

Roads in the Northeast corridor especially those by large metropolitan areas are absolutely horrific. Driving 08' in Newark and you would need a kidney belt and mouth guard lol same can be said for parts of NYC. I live in suburbs north of city, roads up here actually pretty good and we have some excellent back roads in Westchester County and Connecticut as well.

Thats one of the reasons why I've opted not to go with coilover setup just because I think they would just get beat to crap as a daily driver on some of these roads. Worst case scenario if I don't like the way the Swift Springs combined with the Bilstein B6 shocks work then I'll just go back to Factory springs.

I’m really looking forward to your review bc few people have changed out the 11+ suspension and Im curious to hear what you think of the Bilsteins and Swifts. I’ve been hesitant to do just the springs since in my experience just adding lowering springs to oem shocks never ends up being a good option and you then need to go back and put new shocks in anyways, increasing labor costs and down time. The Swifts give a really good drop on their own, just need a good set of shocks to pair with them.

Just wondering if you've done the install yet, curious on how the Bilsteins feel?

I just bought my 12 isf 2wks ago and the previous owner has stock struts with swift springs and I'm not liking it. I was thinking of going with KW V3 or the maybe the Bilsteins with swift.
