Default daizen rear sway bar

i installed front sway bar bushings from daizen they had a slit in them to go on the bar. The rear bushings are diffrent there is no slit in the bushing do i have to take the sway bar fully off and slide them on from the ends thanks sorry for the spelling

The rear bushings are suppose to have slits like the front

I found the same thing with mine... no slit to get them on. I called Sewell who, I bought them from and they stated to slide them on..LOL

I need to call them back and discuss this...they will not "slide" on.

LOL. Looks like Daizen quality is slacking off again. Perhaps this is what happens when they switch over to a [cheaper] different manufacturer?

When I had daizens, there were slits on the bushings but this was long before I started seeing quality dropping..

Confirmed,

You must split the rear bushings with a stanley knife. Use the same cut-angle as the front bushings.

The bushing will simply not go over both the end of the bar (connecting holes) and the bend without damaging them.

Also by splitting them, you dont need to disconnect the bar from the linkages.

yea i spoke to them on the phone and they said that they should have a slit in them but the set a few out that werent cut there f ed up. Iam just going to cut them.
