The Worlds First 360 Degree Lexus IS-F Track Day Video !!!!!!!
Hey guys ! Made the 750 mile round trip back to Auto Club Speedway in California for track day 24 !! I was there about 7 weeks ago but needed a fix and couldn't get that ROVAL out of my mind. While I was there I got to test out a brand new 360 degree camera system for Caliphotography. The solar eclipse on Monday was creating really high K levels for the GPS so there were slight delays in the reading in sections of the track but it still came out well. We tried using the OBD port for real time info from the car but it didn't read out.
Generally this type of canera is used only in recording F1, GT, LeMans racing as well as high end virtual advertising. This particular camera was 3 times the price of a GoPro at over $1000, but I am looking forward to buying one down the line. I hope you guys enjoy !

Also didn't look like you had that much traction that day? Are your tires shot? Or do they just get greasy when your running that track?

As much fun as it was, I went there to beat my best time......but like a genius did it on tires that were 80% gone !! I laugh when people say , " NO man , theyre like slicks like that!". Those people have no clue I really enjoyed the track time, the drive there and back, ad of course all of the pics and amazing 360 video, but I was disappointed in the handling that day. The car was under steering and over steering in sections and the I had to leave the TCS on because I knew they were really bad ( been trying to practice car control with out TCS ). So yeah, reduced grip but lots of fun, cool pics and video but was .26 seconds off my best lap time. Im at 2:00.4 on street tires, stock brakes, and suspension. The second sessions best lap was 2:00.66.
I always review my video and realized that I was entering multiple corners too tight and not using the width of the track on a very important turn and figured I go back and try to best my time. I'll be back !! lol
Fantastic after changing utube settings to HD even zoom in out, virtual passenger and some serious speed. Is this the first track session with the new wheels??
That is pretty cool being able to scroll around side to side and up and down.
I was so impressed when they showed me. I think I want to buy one when the price comes down. He said the camera was over $1000

Thanks man! I saw him zoom in when he showed me at the track but had no idea how to do it

lol I keep it real! They weigh in at 8 lbs for both. They are just shells for bigger kids.
Any daddy racer knows those bastards are REALLY hard to take out and put back in. I alway track with them in. The last time I was there the photographer was a woman and she was super excited to see them ! We are high fiving " parent racers " .
Recaro child seats install and remove in less than 2 minutes. Do it at the airport all the time - not me the last time, the wife. Piece of cake. What seats are you running?
