2012 ISF for $39k, any issues?
Looking at getting back into an ISF again and saw this one listed:
2012 ISF, ~37k miles for $$39k.
VIN: JTHBP5C21C5010279
http://www.norcotruck.com/2012_Lexus..._10299122.veh#
This deal seems a little too good to be true and would it be possible to see if it was in an accident or rebranded title.
Thanks

The car should be fairly clean w/ no accidents. I wouldn't say it's a "too good to be true" deal but pricing is fair. You could probably still shave off a couple thousand. The license plate looked familiar to me and yep, it was LOLM3's novel ISF build. Here's the link if you want to check out the car. https://www.clublexus.com/forums/bui...f-build-3.html

Thanks, went to check out the the car and the interior is clean. Almost everything was returned to stock except the after market interior LED lights and the lowered suspension.
Only issues were fenders paint flaking underside due to the rolled fenders, and all the wheel liners were either loose, had missing screws, or had areas cut out.
The dealership wouldn't budge from the listed price, so walked. $44k OTD was too much to return the car to stock suspension + address the issues above.

It's not a bad price given what else is on the market currently. If you're looking for a 2012+ the pickings are pretty slim. This car is actually on the low end of pricing as a quick search shows any other comparables are higher priced, higher mileaged and at least 400+ miles away. But, if you don't mind traveling...
I did see another local 2012 ISF but it's $7k more. Happy hunting.

Thats the great thing about owning an ISF...don't hate on its value holding, celebrate it! I bought my 2011 about 16 months ago and have been watching prices carefully since then and the prices of similar 2011s have not budged in that time. It is a sweet time right now for ISF values--seems as though the depreciation has taken place but they are holding really well in that 30-40k range. Above that I agree is entering the territory of getting into newer cars that have depreciated more, i.e. The RCF, however, if you want/need 4 doors the RCF isn't going to work for you.
And, every time someone posts about a mechanically sound ISF with 330000 miles on it, it helps that value hold bc people know that even in the 30-40k range they are getting a car with few, if any, competitors in terms of a complete package.

I agree. A couple days ago I got a letter from my local dealership letting me know they are looking for 2012 Lexus ISFs and invited me to bring mine in to consider trades. I'm still very impressed and have fun driving my 2012 ISF and not looking for anything different. I've done my research before I bought this car and knowing how rare and hard it was for me to find it, I am predicting it holds it's value!
