The condition of the interior/exterior is very impressive for the mileage.

I noticed that he has the dreaded missing air box clip!

I just emailed the owner to go check out this unicorn. Will report back if I see it.

I bought this car from the gentlemen yesterday.

Exterior is in great shape for having so many miles. Minor scraps on lower bumper and the headlights need to be buffed/repaired (passenger side is out, also condensation inside).
Interior is also in great condition. However, there is a split at the seams on the driver side bolster. But other than that, you can't tell it has over 334k!

She ran beautifully from Chicago to Cleveland!
It does have a fairly small fuel tank. I really doubt the 26MPG is true...
What this car needs in the near future:
  • Front rotors and pads
  • Rear rotors and pads
  • Rebuild calipers (it pulls to the right when braking from 10mph-0mph)
  • Refinish wheels (several curb rashes, finish is peeling on rear driver wheel)

Probably all highway mileage to get the 26mpg average and that amount of mileage per year. Very impressive none the less and a very smooth comfortable powerful car to boot.

Definitely doing a Blackstone analysis. I'll have to wait 3000 miles since the owner changed the oil a few days ago.

Considering that most 2008 IS-F with 100k go for $24k or so, I offered 1/3 of that price to the seller.

^^^^^^^^^^^^Good deal! You definitely picked up a rare bird for a decent price!

By chance did you do a compression test on the cylinders to see how they've held up over the course of their life?

I did not, I had to fly in so I couldn't bring any tools. The previous owner also had limited tools. But according to my butt dyno it still makes good power.
As quick as my 997S!
