I have Super Pro bushings in the front LCAs (front and rear points) and they've needed a little attention to stay quiet. Not sure why, as I used the moose mucous they supplied with the bushings to lubricate before assembly, but they developed a small noise that I was able to sort out with a little more snot.
Mine started squeaking after a 6 months also on one side. Now I'm at the shop getting them pressed out and regreased for about $150. Smh. Anyone else have similar stories? I live in San Francisco where it rains from time to time, which is when it gets real bad. Anyone who doesnt squeak live in a dry state?
I just saw this thread, but I am always amazed when someone posts on a forum before asking us.
99% of squeaking reports with the USRS that we have received have been solved by making sure the large spindle nut is tight. Otherwise the USRS doesn’t require relubing for YEARS.
The spindle nut can loosen a bit with time. I recommend tightening to at least 100ft-lbs and using medium strength loctite so that it never loosens.
