Diode Dynamics LED Fog Lights Quick Review and Install Experience
I eventually settled on a pair of Diode Dynamics LED Fog Lights leveraging their 4th of July sale. My biggest concern purchasing these was fitment as the ones from The Retrofit Source required some minor modification based on a DIY Fog Light thread in 2014. (https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...og-lights.html)
I was anticipating to have to modify the housing mount tabs, but to my surprise, they fit into the stock tabs! (look at the DIY thread above to see what the other user had to do to modify the tabs) I don’t recall off hand how the stock ones sat, but these ones have about a 3mm gap between the plastic shroud and the fog light assembly, which I think is acceptable? For reference, the ones I received had the marking “ESUSE”, which is a Taiwanese light manufacturer.
One thing to note is that the light output is indeed whiter than the low beam head lamps. They also make a slight buzzing noise when firing up, but it eventually goes away as they warm up.
Overall, I’m quite pleased with the fitment and ease of install and would recommend these as an alternative over the OEMs at about half the cost. The install took me 40 mins taking my time.
Some installation tips:
1. Test the connections prior to inserting the end prongs into the plug shroud. (They did not come attached) On my car, I found that the red wire from the fog light matched up with the green wire from the car’s harness.
2. No need to remove the top engine shrouds as the DIY link above mentioned. All I did was remove the two plastic clips and the 10mm bolt on the bottom.
3. I didn’t do this, but you may want to put a plastic protection film over the lens before install. I don’t believe it is glass, but a very hard plastic.
4. Don’t forget to adjust the light level as it may be aimed too high. Don’t want to be blinding on-coming traffic!

I have a pair new I decided not to install since I couldn't change out my yellow LEDs into them (can't swap bulbs in the Diode Dynamics housing). The definitely look quality, feel quality, and DD has good customer service.
thanks for the review though!!

Disappointed by Diode Dynamics
A somewhat older thread but thought I'd follow up with my recent experience with these fog lights as it is not like FWizard's. The "Type B" fog lights that Diode Dynamics is now selling for the ISF will NOT fit like OEM and instead requires tab trimming just like the TRS/Morimoto version. The mounting brackets and adjusters now look different than the OP's. They must have had some design changes in the last year or two even if DD denies this stating "we have not changed this product since we released." Well, whatever happened the tabs no longer fit into the provision in the bumper. Quite disappointing considering they specifically list the ISF on their product page and make no mention of issues. I'm no stranger to modifying or fabricating things but was looking forward to a product that just works.
You have been warned.

Thank you for posting this!
I'm sincerely sorry for the hassle/headache, and will be forwarding this to our engineering team for closer review. This is NOT the kind of experience we want our customers having, I know what a pain it can be to be told something will fit and it doesn't.

Crazy thing is I think they are the same product, from the same factory just with the "ESUSE" swapped with "Morimito" on the inner casting.... the part numbers and design of the DD housing are identical to the pics here: http://www.morimotohid.com/lexus-morimoto-xb-led.html
Are these the ones you guys bought?
