It looks like there is a oil hole in the top of the rocker arm ether the rocker is solid and the oil just flows though the pivot to the rocker to lubricate the pivot and cam roller and lobe.I wish someone could just pull out a pivot, come on lance you could do it just for fun even a picture of the pivot OUT of the head

So the drawing from the New Car Features shows an oil hole. I won't debate that, they usually get that book pretty spot on.

But I'm not pulling cams unless I have a really good reason to pull them. It's enough of a PITA just to check the clearances.

I'd sooner order a pivot than do the labor to remove the cams.
