Lexus team LT successfully racing their Isf on RR Racing tune
Thought I'd post this up for anyone who was on the fence about the RR tune:
"The European Lexus Team LT by Artas Racing comes in 3rd place in GT class and 4th place overall in their first 24 hour endurance race this season. Team LT ISF is racing on RR Racing ECU Tune and PPE Tuned Headers. Team LT is racing against fully modified BMWs and Porsches in this demanding race.
Team manager, Tomas Skultinas, commented that “drivers were very happy with the power improvements from last year [running on RR Racing tune], our first race went good and we finished in P3 of GT class and P4 overall”. Tomas also promised to display the RR Racing decal in a more prominent space on their race car.
RR Racing’s President and Lead Tuning Engineer, Rafi Raban, stated that RR Racing will continue working with Artas Racing on improving power and performance of their ISF race car. “We were happy with this first success that once again proved the quality of RR Racing tuning for the Lexus platform.”

Thanks for posting that up, great to see now pro team Artas Racing, Lexus European team using RR Racing Tune with great results. With Rafi and Simon as well as Paul with PPE Engineering working directly with European Lexus racing team this will benefit the entire F community IS-F, RC-F and GS-F. Hopefully Lexus corporate is watching and actually seeing what the independent race teams as well as enthusiast are doing to modify their cars. Racing at that level is one of the best as well as fastest ways to help develop any platform so I wish both RR racing and Artas Racing good luck.

I've been running RR Tune for a while now too and I mostly just track my car, no issues, so seeing an actual Race Team using the same tune is very comforting to me, car's a beast and I don't have much done to it besides exhaust and the tune. Great job RR!

I wonder if they are running the basic FBO tune that all of us are or its a specific tune for them. It sounds like more tuning development could trickle down from this which could be potential updates/enchancements for us hopefully.

But that doesn't mean that the information gathered isn't worth it's weight in gold. That is a TON of data logging that is useful for understanding and modifying the tunes available to the general public.
