90k Isf oil pan leak
Was just curious has anyone have any leak issues with the oil pan ? Just seen that mind was leaking while doing a alignment. But problems fixed and just want to put out there for future reference that our oil pan uses glue instead of a gasket and was very easy to do as well .

My 2011 had a small leak that the dealer noticed when it was in for and oil change. Kept it for an extra hour and fixed it under warranty. Car only had about 25-30 k miles at the time

Hi Guys. Fbeast seems to be leaking oil from the back of the engine, however it seems to be comming from up top cylinder head area. The dealer doesn't know yet but they say it might be coming from the left side which they suspect is an oil pressure switch. Is there such in that area?

My 2010 ISF has 65K miles on the ODO. This morning, I found few drops of oil under the car. Not my favourite morning then :-)))
I went to my local shop to have them take a look, it seems they discovered my lower oil pan is leaking.
It doesn't seem that common, never seen reading about it, being on this forum for so long. Anyone had to deal with this?
QUESTIONS: It seem to be rather minor repair. No need to drop the subframe right? Remove the pan, reseal and done I bet. There is no lower pan gasket, so just a reseal job?
Is it required or recommended to source new oil pan, new hardware? No need I hope, as ours is not aluminum I believe, (asking as I had to do that on my Cayenne, those parts were aluminum)
Any feedback, would be appreciated. Thank you.

My F was due for oil change so I finally had the lower pan resealed. My mechanic mentioned to my surprise that the wrong sealant (grey one) was used at the factory. All fixed and sealed with the proper one (black one) he said. (Part number listed above^^^^)
He cleaned the block and tranny housing from the oil stains. Fresh Amsoil and K&N gold series oil filter and good to go.
