Would make a good drag car if you plan on gutting that horrendous interior. As a daily driver. No,thanks. If manual is what you want M3/M5 is where it's at. Going from an IS-F to a Chevy SS is a downgrade. Most guys on here upgrade to Porsche/GT-R territory.

Ran across a few of them in Mexico and they are definitely slower than the F!

Now if they came with the LT1 then maybe it would be interesting, but Chevy decided on the LS3 for whatever reasoning??

It's embarrassing bankrupt-detroit, taxpayer-bailed out trailer park junk... sorry i got a little negative there, i'm still unhappy about the government taking my tax dollars and bailing out GM & Chrysler back in 2008/2009 time frame. it was a horrible mistake IMHO and so unfortunate because if GM & Chrysler had taken responsibility for their inept management and been forced to face their own problems like every other company, they actually might have come out with a better product in the long term.

My cousin has two, one with a supercharger and the other with bolt ons. If you want to tune and have more aftermarket support, then anything other than Toyota products will appeal to you. The magnetic ride suspension is well regarded but I've never driven them or been in them so I can't say.

Exactly how I feel. If you wanted a SS, the ideal time to get it is before you acquired the ISF.

It's really not on the same level in terms of luxury so I'd have to say no. If you were talking V-series then we'd having something to discuss.

Cheap to run/upgrade? Assuming going brand new then why not go for a Camaro? Much cheaper initial cost.
