Is this a direct swap or is there modification involved? I'd love to see a DIY write-up on this. Thanks

It's not bad to do. I don't have the time to do a full DIY, but there are guides on hidplanet.com and like sites that will show you how to do this. But if you get stuck somewhere, shoot me a pm

OEM then three from TRS and then the projector and the projector retainer ring and then screw in both sides. Just experiment and adjust to your liking.

Hi everyone, apologies for reviving an old thread.
I'm in the UK and I've managed to source some facelift headlights to put on my 2008 IS F.

I've looked at countless posts and threads about what to do etc and I wondered if I could get some assistance from everyone.

As mentioned by others in the thread above, I'm aiming to execute the idea to keep the AFS functionality with the facelift headlights.

1st question:- do I need to take the headlights apart to transfer over the AFS motor and linkage ?

2nd question:- I've seen that everyone says you just need to repin the connectors to get things working. I've found a pin diagram that shows what is where on the 2IS headlights both facelift and pre facelift. I've created an Excel spreadsheet and made an educated guess at what needs pinning where. Any input on the feasibility of this or if it's correct would be a massive help.

Kind Regards
