Default Question about Spacers

Whats up everyone,

looking to get some info on spacers and fitments. i was looking at getting 10mm for the rear but wanted to know if i will need extended lugs?

Also if anyone has pics of their Spacer setups would be awesome.

Most guys run 15 or 20mm - you will need extended studs for anything more than 3mm IMO.

You could choose to run the bolt on type of spacers as well, I do not trust those enough to run them.

Here is mine with 15mm H&R spacers with extended studs.

Same set-up (15mm H&R w/ extended studs) with '12 wheels. Also, I wouldn't trust the bolt-on type either.. IMO, if you're going to do it, do it right.

Are you guys (with the 15mm spacers) rubbing anything at all? Fender liner in the rear? Front liner when turning? My car is lowered with Swift springs with 235/40,265/35 on stock 2012 wheels. I want spacers but I don't want to mess with fenders, or even rub the liners.

My setup rubs the front passenger liner while in reverse, while near full left lock. Basically any time I am try to parallel park into a spot on the the right side of the road. I think I just need to use a heat gun and push the liner in a little bit.

No rubbing at any other time.

The liner has a vent in the inner area of the wheel well - that's what we are rubbing on. Sounds terrible too..
