I'd highly doubt moisture made it into the brake lines. The car was garage kept and never went out in inclement weather. Are there other reasons or theories? The oil was the only fluids that were changed and done regularly.

Congratulations & welcome aboard!

Regarding brake fluid.. The moisture can accumulate over time, regardless.. So, it's a good idea to at least bleed the brakes since it's likely the original fluid from the factory, which is now over 5 years old.

From Wikipedia:
Glycol-ether (DOT 3, 4, and 5.1) brake fluids are hygroscopic (water absorbing), which means they absorb moisture from the atmosphere under normal humidity levels.

Thanks for the recommendation. I'll change out the brake fluid.
Also the brake squeak sometimes during slow braking. My SA says there's no TSB for the brakes but I read that there is one here, albeit on an old thread. Is it because I have a 2012? I'm thinking maybe the later models already have the new pads and shims.

Very nice!

If you want performance gains from the exhaust, you'll be needing to change your headers. There are a few choices in this regard, most go with either PPE or SIKKY, but there are some rare options out there like Novel if you have deep pockets!

Congrats on the purchase though dude, nice find for sure.

I'd also look at getting the USRS and the AOS and maybe the titanium intake from RR-Racing.

First one improves handling, other two remove unwanted oil from the intake system. The titanium intake also happens to look amazing! Lol.

Hope you and the family enjoy many happy miles together.

Cheers.
